Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, nobody here seems to know it's Thanksgiving, but they are out for a stroll by the ocean, on the dunes, or biking along the bike path. Jordan and I have made it to California and we have left the busy commercial HWY 101 and are on the windy whimsical HWY 1, which despite having no shoulder also has very little traffic and has spectacular views of the ocean and countryside!
So far California has treated us in grand style. We have discovered that once those giant road slugs of RVs are parked and not trying to run us off the road, they can be full of the friendliest people. We met a nice guy named Jason who actually got in his truck to chase us down and invite us to stay on his 10" X 14" manicured lawn in the RV park in the avenue of the giants.
